403b:
A 403(b) plan is a tax deferred retirement savings plan similar to a private company 401(k) plan. 403(b) plans are available to governmental and public school employees. 
457b:
457(b) plans are deferred compensation plans that allow eligible employees to set aside a portion of their salary on a before-tax basis, for the purpose of saving for retirement.
